Dental Implant and CBCT Technology
Dental implants are a popular and effective way to replace missing teeth. They are also used to support fixed and removable dentures. Dental implants are titanium posts that are surgically placed in the jaw bone. Over time, the surrounding bone grows around the implant, making it very sturdy.
There are many benefits of dental implants, including:
– improved appearance
– improved speech
– increased comfort
– increased chewing ability
– easier cleaning of teeth
– improved oral health
Our office is equipped with a State-of-the-Art CBCT x-ray machine. Dental CBCT technology is a three-dimensional imaging system that provides detailed information about the teeth, jaws, and surrounding structures. This information is important for planning dental implant surgery. CBCT images can show the position of the teeth, bones, nerves, and blood vessels. This helps the dentist to plan the surgery so that it is safe and effective.
Sometimes there isn’t enough bone in your jawbone to place implants, or the bone may not be strong enough. In these cases, a bone graft or sinus lift may be necessary. A bone graft is a procedure where new bone is placed in your jawbone to help support the implants. Sinus lift procedure is performed to raise the sinus floor and allow for placement of implants in the back of the upper jaw. Our experienced dentist was highly trained to perform these advanced bone augmentation procedures.

Implant Supported Single Crown Restoration
Single implant restoration refers to placing single implant to replace single missing tooth or more missing teeth. This can be your front teeth to restore your smile or your back teeth to help you with chewing.
At the consultation appointment, our highly experienced dentist will review your medical and dental history. We then evaluate your x-rays and exam clinically. If you are a suitable patient for implant, we will plan the implant on your CBCT image using our advanced implant planning software and we will show you exactly where the implant should be placed.
Next step is implant placement. After the implant is placed in your jaw bone, you will go home and we will give your body some time to heal so that your bone will integrate with the implant fully. Then a fully customized connection (abutment) and crown will be fabricated for you.

Implant Supported Bridge
When multiple teeth next to each other are missing, we have the option to place multiple individual crowns, or to place two at both ends and connect multiple crowns using these two implants.

Implant Supported Overdenture (Removable)
Sometimes cavities or gum disease can become too severe and untreatable. This may lead the patient with the only option of removing all of the teeth on one or both arches.
Dentures are very esthetic and affordable. However, the chewing force of patients wearing dentures is significantly lower than people with nature teeth. After loss of teeth, bone resorbs gradually, which leads to further loss of stability of the dentures.
Implant over denture is to place a minimum of four implants on the upper jaw or two implants on the lower jaw. We will then add special connections on each implant and fabricate a special denture that snap on to these connections. Give us a call to see if this is a good option for you!

All on Four (Fixed)
Different from implant over dentures that needs to be removed at night, the All-on-4 is a fixed solution. All-on-4 is a cost-effect and minimally invasive treatment during which four implants are strategically placed so that these four implants can be strong enough to withhold the biting force of a full arch of teeth (14 teeth).
Utilizing our advanced CBCT machine and computer guided technology, our dentist places the implants at the exact positions as planned before the treatment.
All-on-4 has many benefits to our patients. It not only restore your smile but also helps you to chew food as good as using your only nature teeth. With this technology, the roof of your mouth will no longer need to be covered by the denture and you will be able to speak freely, swallow without any discomfort and taste your favorite foods!
